How do you empty a portable toilet?

One of our own waste service tankers will arrive on site where the tanker driver will pump the waste from the portable toilet unit into the tanker’s holding tank by means of a sealed system using suction technology. This ensures that maximum hygiene and safety standards are met.

This will depend on the number of units and the number of people using them, but the average single use plastic toilet is capable of holding enough sewage for 10 people over a full working week (40 hours) before becoming unsanitary. The frequency of emptying can of course be arranged at the point of contract to suit individual requirements but, generally, at least once or twice a week throughout a long term hire period would be sufficient.
