The following are the most frequently asked questions when it comes to luxury toilet hire. If you are still unsure, please contact our friendly team and they'll be happy to help.
Fortis Hire uses a range of 4x4 vehicles which enables us to be able to tow onto grass areas or fields, although the ground does need to be firm and flat to set up the unit and ensure full functionality. If you are worried about tyre marks on the field then we can supply you with contact details of Trackway companies.
This is dependent on a few variables, firstly how many guests and the duration of the event, but as a rule of thumb the ratio is around one toilet for every 50 guests. If you go to our toilet hire page it will recommend the correct option for your event based on the number of guests.
Our fleet requires a minimum of a single phase 13 amp power supply. Each luxury toilet consumes roughly 3 kva. Our units will work off normal domestic supply. If mains power is unavailable and a generator is required we have a list of reputable companies who can provide a quotation.
Fortis Hire ensures that each unit arrives on-site with all the consumables needed from luxury hand soap to premium paper products. When our experienced service drivers drop off the luxury trailer they will show you where extra consumable are stored so you never need to worry about running out.
Once the unit has been delivered and until it is collected, you are responsible for any damage, vandalism or theft of each unit. In most cases, event and wedding insurance will include the cover of our toilets but if you have any questions please just give us a call and we will be more than happy to talk you through the process.
If you have a requirement for disabled access we have a range of units available depending on your budget. All of our disabled accessible units meet industry standards and provide baby changing facilities as well.
We have worked with our manufacturer to provided the first luxury disabled trailer that lowers flat to the floor which halves the ramp size and therefore makes it easier for each users.
For private events we aim to deliver the unit one or two days before the event. The unit is usually collected the day after the event finishes. If you're constrained to certain times, then we will be happy to work with you but please be aware there could be an additional charge. For large public events, times will be agreed on a case by case basis with the event organiser.
Summer is obviously a very busy time for our fleet of luxury toilets and by April we will be fully booked for certain periods like the August bank holiday. Make sure you give us a call today to ensure you’re not disappointed and to secure your toilet for your event.
