Features of the Fresh Flush 5 Bay Toilet Trailer The Fresh Flush 5 Bay Trailer measures 4.75m long (5.8m with the towing frame), 2.30m wide (3.2m including the steps), and 2.90m high. Each trailer consists of 5 separate and lockable cubicles, each with a foot-operated flushing toilet and running hot and cold water. The solar panels span the width and length of the trailer, maximising the energy that is stored and removing the need for a mains electricity supply or generator power. As each unit also has its own integral hot water system, the trailers require no mains water supply. This means they are suitable for even the most remote, off-grid location. Fresh flush toilets are water-saving A low-energy 12-volt pump is activated when the foot-operated flush is depressed which flushes the toilet. Compared to a flushing domestic toilet which uses approximately 5-7 litres of water per flush, each fresh flush loo uses just 0.3 litres, representing a huge saving on water. Further water usage is also kept to a minimum as the water used for hand washing is recycled and used to flush the toilet. Fresh flush toilets are energy saving In addition to not requiring any mains electricity connection, these trailers are further energy saving when we look at their water and power consumption. The basin tap in each cubicle is gravity-fed and this, alongside recycling the hand washing water for flushing (see above), reduces water and power consumption further as there is no need for power-thirsty waste and water pumps.
