As the current situation unfolds surrounding the Covid 19 Coronavirus outbreak, the directives issued by our government and the resulting consequences it is important that we closely monitor the implications as they break and recognise the duty of care we have to our customers and to our front line staff.

Clearly as a result of the address given by the Prime Minister yesterday which are due to be imposed in the next month, events will have to be cancelled or postponed to comply with government advice regarding curbing social interaction. Events, parties and weddings which are much further into the future are clearly less easy to call and we advise customers to get in touch to talk about options and postponements to dates later in the year. Fortis Hire will continue to monitor the situation and guidance as it is given with a view to protecting our staff and customers from contact with the virus.

All staff have been given training on the virus, how it spreads and what steps we can all take as a company to protect our work colleagues and customers from infection.

Steps Fortis Hire will be implemented during the disturbances.

During the crisis we will be ensuring that all trailers hired are equipped with extra hand sanitiser, antibac wipes and lots of soap and water to facilitate enhanced hand washing and cleanliness.
